In 2004, Arriva invested in excess of £10 million in Project Overdrive – an investment programme in the Medway Towns which saw 61 new vehicles together with a further 40 refurbished modern vehicles introduced in a single day. The investment was complemented by improvements to service levels and infrastructure. Also acquired in 2004 were Prignitzer Eisenbahn Gruppe of Germany and in October 2004, Regentalbahn which is based in Bavaria. The 2005 edition reflects all the growing fleet when we went to press.
