The number of vehicles on Malta and Gozo is small compared with the fleets of many British companies – no more than 1500 vehicles are listed in this book. However, the intention of the author has been to present a faithful and scenic profile of the buses and coaches in service on both islands in early 2003. Each route bus on Malta and Gozo, and each coach is listed, accompanied by full technical details, current ownership and previous history. The book is written by Tom Johnson, an expert on the island's buses.
