Please also note that after thirty-two years of publishing the Bus Handbook series of fleet books and after reaching the age of 76, Bill and Sheila Potter have decided to retire in the spring, The 2026 Stagecoach and 2026 Firstbus editions will be the final books and these will be ready shortly after Christmas..

The company was formed in 1993 with the acquisition of several regional Bus Handbooks from Capital Transport with the series changing over time to reflect the developments within the bus industry, especially the formation of the larger groups. The objective has always been to reflect bus fleets irrespective of the operation licences, looking mostly at a fleet from the fleet engineer’s perspective.
